Step 3: Contact and Placement
Volunteer Services will contact you to schedule your regular or sporadic volunteer commitment and schedule. We will take this opportunity to learn about you, your availability, schedule, and interests. We then combine that information with our needs here at the Village to design the perfect schedule and placement for you. We understand that everyone’s schedule is different and we appreciate the generous donation of your personal time for our families.
Step 4: Start to Volunteer
At the beginning of your first shift, you will check in at the Caring Center to receive your personal identification number that will allow you to clock in/out for every volunteer shift. You will also be issued a temporary name tag and a meal ticket. Finally, you will be escorted to your volunteer area for training. A Volunteer Coordinator will be there to help you with this process and answer any questions you might have to ensure you have an exceptional volunteer experience!
