Be a "voluntourist" at Give Kids The World. If you, your family, or your group are planning a visit to the Central Florida area and would like to "give back" during your trip – we invite you to spend time as a Visiting Volunteer.
Give Kids The World fills almost 1300 volunteer shifts a week. We depend on the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and we love to work with visiting volunteers who want to spend time with us, even if it is just for a couple of days. We know once your spend time with us, Give Kids The World will quickly earn a special place in your heart.
To help us best accommodate your needs, as well as those of the Village, please be flexible with your dates when arranging your visit to Give Kids The World Village. In addition, please:
- Confirm your dates with Volunteer Services prior to making any flight or other travel arrangements.
- Remember that for student groups, we require a minimum of one chaperone (over 21) for every four students.
- Each member of your group must complete a Visiting Volunteer application and return it to Volunteer Services at least one week before your scheduled volunteer visit.
